Half-price Tickets for London Theatre’s ‘Kids Week’ Are On Sale Now

With temperatures creeping up and kids out for summer break, now’s the time for a family trip to the theatre – and Official London Theatre has you covered with their annual “Kids Week” sale. Discounted tickets are on sale now for a smorgasbord of shows, from those aimed directly at kids (Horrible Histories, The Tiger Who Came To Tea) to classic shows (Les Misérables, Hello, Dolly!) and everything in between.

Tickets can only be booked direct from Official London Theatre’s website, with a flat discount of 50% off full price tickets so long as there are children (i.e. someone 17 or under) in your group. Kids “Week” is also a bit of a misnomer – many productions have discounted tickets throughout August and into the first week of September.

As an added bonus, several participating shows are offering workshops or talkback sessions for kids or families on select dates. A full list of these can be found here, with representative activities including a dance workshop from the dance captain of Kiss Me, Kate and a post-show Q&A with the cast of Wicked.

Whether there’s a young person in your life who already loves theatre, or someone you want to introduce to the medium for the very first time, now’s a great time to do it. Just act quickly – tickets are already going fast!
