The Best Discounts for Every Show in London

Rush, lottery, seasonal sales – I’ll post them as I see them. For how I find these deals, check out this blog post. If you think I’ve missed a show, or you find a better deal, let me know! There’s a suggestion box below the list.

Rush tickets are tickets released at a certain time, typically on a first-come, first-serve basis. Show up at the right time and you’re likely to get a ticket. Lottery tickets are just that – luck of the draw. Some plays are easier to hit the lottery on than others. For example, Operation Mincemeat and Matilda hit relatively often, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child not so much.

Shows With No Discounts

While most shows offer some sort of discount ticket program (even a lottery with very long odds), a few do not regularly do so. Oft-requested shows that do not offer discount tickets include:

  • Les Miserables
  • The Play That Goes Wrong
  • The Devil Wears Prada

If you see one of these shows with a one-off discount (such as during the OLT New Year’s Sale, or TodayTix’s London Theatre Week), go ahead and book it as you’re not likely to get a better deal elsewhere.
