London Theatre Week Brings Discounted Tickets to Dozens of Shows

Like clockwork, London Theatre Week is back! This week-and-a-half sale offers discounts to shows across the West End – not quite at the dirt-cheap prices of lottery or rush tickets, but still solid savings of 20-30% off the face value on average.

A number of ticket resellers are taking part in the sale, with show dates predominantly in September and October, or slightly beyond. Of particular interest are a number of big shows that don’t otherwise partake in discount schemes, such as Les Misérables or The Play That Goes Wrong, and shows that have hard-to-win lotteries, like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child or MJ the Musical. Also, it might be obvious, but if you want to get a discounted tickets for a group of 3 or more, this might be your best bet until Official London Theatre’s New Year Sale this winter!

The London Theatre Week sale lasts until September 1 (Update Sep 2: now extended to September 8), but (as always) booking earlier will give you the best selection of tickets. So, go to one of the following retailers and see what’s out there:
