Deal: ‘See it Live in 2025’ Has The Cure for the Winter Blues – Discounted Theatre

Say goodbye to the “New Year Sale,” and say hello to “See it Live in 2025,” the catchy new name for Official London Theatre’s annual winter sale. Now in its 22nd year, 2025 has brought a new top price tier (£60), but the sale’s ticket deals are still some of the best in the business.

Shows in the sale include family-friendly outfits (The Lion King, Horrible Histories), 2025 premieres (Elektra, Clueless), and West End titans (The Phantom Of The Opera, Hadestown), so there’s sure to be something you’ll enjoy. Of particular interest are a number of shows that otherwise don’t have cheap rush or lottery tickets, including Les Misérables, The Play That Goes Wrong, and Mamma Mia!

Some of the best values I’ve seen include:

  • Les Misérables stalls tickets for £60 (normally £95)
  • Stranger Things: The First Shadow stalls tickets for £50 (normally £90)
  • The Play That Goes Wrong stalls tickets for £40 (normally £67.50)
  • Matilda The Musical stalls tickets for £60 (normally £99)

Discounted tickets are generally available for January and February performances, although there are some shows with summer runs on offer as well. For all the deals, check out the Official London Theatre website here. The sale will be open for at least the next month, but as always booking earlier means better selection.

Merry Christmas, and happy theatre-going!
